IT’S TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE.
MEET Heather, LMFT IN Ogden, Ut
Let me guess:
You're here because you've tried to solve the problem... and it keeps coming back.
Maybe it's the same argument that never really gets resolved.
Maybe you've read the books, listened to the podcasts, watched the videos, and even tried therapy before. You understand what you're supposed to do, but somehow, in the moment, you both end up right back where you started.
Or maybe this isn't about your relationship at all.
Maybe you're exhausted by anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, perfectionism, or the constant feeling that you're capable of more than you're currently experiencing.
Whatever brought you here, I'm willing to bet it isn't because you lack insight.
It's because understanding a problem and creating lasting change are two very different things.
The good news?
you’re in the right spot.
How I work
I've spent my entire career studying patterns.
Long before I became a therapist, I was a math teacher. I loved helping students discover that what once looked confusing actually followed a pattern. Once they could recognize it, everything began to make sense.
That curiosity eventually led me to earn a Master's degree in Learning Sciences and work as an instructional designer, where I studied a different kind of pattern: how people learn, grow, and create lasting behavioral change.
Today, as a marriage and family therapist, I find myself studying patterns once again.
Only now, they're the patterns that shape our relationships.
Whether I'm working with an individual, a couple, or a family, I'm listening for the interaction beneath the conversation. I'm paying attention to the beliefs, emotions, habits, and relational cycles that keep people feeling stuck.
Most people don't need more advice.
They need someone who can help them see what they haven't been able to see on their own.
Once we recognize the pattern, we can begin changing it intentionally.
That's where lasting change begins.

truth & courage aren’t always comfortable, but they’re never weakness.

in therapy with me…
YOU'LL SEE THE PATTERN.
Most people know what keeps happening. Together we'll discover why it keeps happening and what needs to change to create a different outcome.
YOU'LL BUILD NEW CAPACITIES.
Insight is valuable, but it isn't enough. We'll intentionally practice new ways of thinking, communicating, regulating emotions, and responding so that lasting change becomes possible.
YOU'LL LEAVE DIFFERENT.
My goal isn't to create lifelong clients. It's to help you become the kind of person who can navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and intention long after our work together has ended.
